Well...
This morning, I planned the big shop at Tesco Metro, just a mile away!
All went well with the list, (also 25% off six bottles of wine - last day), and the trolley was suitably packed, with some comestibles for the week as well of course!
First, I went to scan the Clubdcard and guess what - my wallet with the cards was at home..:0~
Explained the problem to the lovely girl who helps out, and she looked after my trolley while I dashed home and rushed back!
Got back slightly breathlessly, got it all bagged up and then, the 10% Club Card squary-stupid-picture thing didn't work, so my lovely lady on the self-service checkout got it sorted and I got my discount! That was just fine, and all was well, except that when I got back to the car, noticed the clock, and realised that I had another visit to make, and it said nearly 11.35 am!
So, the Growstermobile did about 100 mph up to the GC, for the next purchasing escapade, and I worried all the time that I had to get lunch ready and was running out of time...
Stayed as long as I needed to to get the stuff there, and rushed home!
Belted into the house to say that lunch would be late, and a calm, fragrant Mrs Growster enquired after the panic, somewhat pityingly!
Yup, the car clock was an hour late...
