I know diets are awful, aren't they!
I've got friends for tea later and I'm hoping to stay on track by avoiding the wedges as I've been low-carbing since 30th December, and so far so good ;)

Just picked a load of Brussels sprouts, kale, carrots, parsnips and some potatoes from the potato store.
Roast heart, sage and onion stuffing and loads of gravy.

Crumpets and lemon curd for afters.

We were going to have friends and neighbours round tonight for a cosy meal together, probably a casserole.
But inspired by some neighbours, we've invited them and our friends round for an evening of Trump party fun.
Our menu tonight goes like this;
We are making;
Bacon wrapped corn
Chicken Caesar Pasta Salad
Creamy coleslaw
Friends making;
Fried chicken 'American kentucky style' and a few dips.
Cheeseburger sliders
Neighbours are making;
Banana Split Kebabs
Mini Cherry Berry Pies

All homemade and its our corn from the summer.

I'm a day behind everyone else, because I'm thinking about fish for tonight  :lol:  There are mackerel fillets in the freezer and I've just dug out some cooked plot borlotti beans and hm tomato sauce.

The final combination will come to me later, but my red pepper paste has just arrived (an idea from another thread) and I want to try it out  :D
