Quite happy with the weather god who gave the allotment an excellent soaking. Couldn't ask for anything better.  :D

Lucky you! We got cloudy skies, but not a drop of rain. If it's not going to rain, I'd much prefer at least a little sunshine

May Day was a cloudy day for us as well.  Distinct lack of maypole dancing round here at the sight of gloomy skies and drizzle.

We got some rain on and off through daylight hours, then it cleared up.  It did start again though at around 11pm and seemed a bit more serious.  The garden looks quite soaked this morning, so I hope it made its way over as far as you MoS.

Alas no  :( Apart from the odd few spits you could just feel in the air, we've still had none.

We had enough of overnight to wet the path but that was all.

Never thought I'd be this desperate for rain!

I think we had four or five 'drips' which didn't do anything.   We are supposed to have more tomorrow and Wednesday and then a heatwave for the next three months according to the Internet.

Belated Happy Mayday from here in very dry Burbage. We were threatened with rain but apart from a slight feeling of dampness, zilch. I see we are forecast some tonight & tomorrow night at 9pm for a few hours, I do hope we get it as the plot & gardens are in need. It’s been dry for over 4 weeks at least.
