For the chicken that has everything
« on: October 23, 2013, 16:35 »
A friend sent me a clipping from the Guardian about Omlet selling winter jackets for chickens. Posh saddles, in other words.... But how tempting! The hi vis ones for those that free range and the tweed ones for those in runs! Great Christmas pressies!

It may confuse the foxes if they see a chicken in a hi viz jacket ...

There may be a financial benefit here. We could maybe get food producers of layer meal etc. to advertise on the
saddles.I would give KFC a big NO right enough

I confess - I bought some! A yellow one for my (ginger) blacktail and the pink one for the grey speckledy  :)  They look fab. They sometimes look so bedraggled when it pours with rain all day and they're too daft to go in their shelter, I felt sorry for them.

I thought this was a leg pull too.
And the price of them  someone is laughing all the way to the bank.

i really must not let my sister get wind of these; she is daft enough to buy some for her girls, and probably in pink too.    Totally daft.

I would think that it would cause problems as it would mean they would have a large change in body temperature for overnight!

Richard - you could be missing a new marketing opportunity - get in there fast.

I could hardly catch my ducks never mind trying to put on little dinky swimming suits. That would totally be beneath their dignity.
