I used roundup about 3 weeks ago and most of the weeds look pretty sick. However there are still quite large clumps of couch grass, nettles and docks dying quietly.  Should I remove all these before rotovating (bet you'll say yes!) or can they just be safely churned in never to return?

 Thanks in anticipation, advice of you experts much appreciated as always on this site.

Good evening John and welcome to the site. If there aren`t too many of these plants I`d say dig them out. Otherwise, re treat with the glyphosate, leave 48 hours, then rotovate.

Apologies for that.  My initial attempts to post didn't work for some reason so just kept trying a different route until I found one that worked - as you do with computers!

What have you decided about those nasty weeds John ?

Will be using my very handy garden claw to remove the big clumps and treat the remaninder with roundup again.  Shouldn't need the space for a couple of weeks so now I'm a retired layabout the luxury of time to do whatever you choose (but still never enough) is very welcome.

What roundup are you using? DIY stuff?

Standard Garden Centre stuff in the green bottle (diluted in can with watering bar - 20ml to 5l of water from memory).  Does it make any difference?
