Replacement Shaft For Fork (EXTRA LONG)
« on: January 18, 2014, 11:15 »
bit of a off chance this really, but does anyone know where would sell a replacement shaft for my fork?

it has to be longer than a standard fork handle though, i'm 6 ft 2 and the standard length handles kills my back. i can use the actual handle from my broken fork, so would just need a shaft.

i'm in norfolk and don't know any hardware shops locally (only lived here a year) i'll have a ask around some friends when i see them. but failing that don't mind mail ordering.

thanks in advance for any help.

I went to a hardware shop, bought a T handle and a D handle, took the hand piece from the D handle, then took the T handle and removed the T piece, then put on the D piece, this lengthened the handle by the length of the D handle piece - about 4" longer than the original.
