How often should you give it a thorough clean? What is the best thing to use? I've had so many conflicting answers. Some well seasoned GH growers have told me that they never clean the GH other than just tidy up.

Just once a year for me with strong jeyes fluid before the growing season.

I try to give mine a thorough wash out with hot soapy water with a squib of bleach before the growing season gets going,followed by a good jet wash in & out.

I think a good wash out on a warm autumn day is the best - there is less in the ghouse, what there is won't mind being outdoors for a few hours, and if you leave it til spring there will be so much  happening you'll decide to give it a miss anyway!

It's a rotten job to clean the greenhouse when it's cold and miserable outside. I do mine when it's empty(ish) but I do have to clean the exterior roof glass quite often during the growing season as I get such a lot of bird muck on it    I also get a lot of debris from surrounding trees. The cherry trees seem to be the worst offender and they chuck tonnes of stuff down.  The gutters are the important bit to keep cleaned out, so don't overlook those
