Title: Pigeons - Plan B
Post by: mrs bouquet on April 16, 2018, 15:36
Now the scary owl and the wood pigeons are best friends, todays plan is a childrens windmill made of shiny, foil.  I have stuck that on the pergola where they normally land.  Haven't seen any today - but .......

At least the pigeon men on the local plots will strangle their pigeons if they are caught eating away from home. It's the going home for food that makes them good racers - well if they like the food.

Woody the pigeon has been absent a bit this winter - think that it's been too wet to walk for food.

One of the local growers who runs a community supported agriculture scheme says he reckons he had a couple of cormorants flying over his fields looking for fish - not true but a comment on how wet it is.
