« on: April 10, 2010, 21:44 »
I have two cockerels who are both crowing now and 12 hens , they are showing no sign of fighting yet and in fact seem very friendly towards one another is this normal ? I hope so because I dont want to have to part with one  :(
what came first chicken or the egg ;)

I have 3 cockerels in with 8 girls and they are fine.... two are hopefully getting girls of their own tomorrow though :(

Also have 4 cockerels in with 11 serama girls and there does not seem to be any fighting yet :)  Only one is crowing really so perhaps they have a sort of an alpha cock thing going on :)
I love Pekins, Polands and Seramas :) and eggs!!!

I have 3 cockerels, the 2 araucanas have the odd squabble but ususally keep out of each others way and the third is a little sablepoot. They seem to think he is a girlie so apart from the odd attempt at mating with him , much to his disgust  they leave him alone.
Staffies are softer than you think.
