my  peas are about 2 inces tall now in the greenhouse will it be ok to plant out yet or will they need frost protection

Mine are about that size too, but I'm not putting them out yet.  Last year I waited until mine were about 5-6 inches tall before I put them out.  Had a lovely crop, but wasn't enough peas for us, we love peas, so must plant more this year!!

I've got 4 metres of gutter with peas in, in the cold frame at present.  They must be hardened off and protected from frost.  No point putting them in too soon.  Some one on this site advised me to plant them when the roots hold the soil in the gutter together well.
