wot  type of soil do i need to re pot this plant all so wot type of plant is it thanks

It is hard to tell from your picture what the tree is but it looks like some kind of small fir. I would suggest that if you want to re-pot it that you use soil-based John Innes No 2 potting compost but fir trees usually do better in the open ground. If you are re-potting it look at the roots to see if they are growing in a circle around the pot - if they are try to gently tease them out otherwise they will just continue to grow in a circle.
