Couldn't you just kill the postman when you've stayed in ALL day only to pop out for 5 minutes to get some more milk and you return home to find a card saying "WE TRIED TO LEAVE A PARCEL BUT NOBODY WAS IN - SO WE'VE TAKEN IT AWAY AND YOUR GONNA HAVE TO WAIT AT LEAST 48 HOURS TO GET IT BACK. HAAAA!"

Happens to me all the time. I swear they lurk around the corner, just waiting for me to pop out :evil:

I don't leave home until 1pm for work, the postman normally comes about 12ish, he often just puts the card through with the post, without knocking or ringing the bell if it's a parcel, I reckon they can't be axxed carrying them, grrr

What gets to me is that they hammer our door in when they want you to take a parcel for next door, and yet all I get is a blimmin card. Don't they bother asking anyone to take ours? :evil:

Can you not simply phone your local post office and just arrange to pick it up? It would have to be easier than waiting for the postperson.

It's being delivered by a private firm. I stayed in ALL day and nothing arrived only to be told on the phone that I now have to wait until MONDAY!!!!!!!!! So a wasted weekend ahead.

my little old postman is great. if im not in, he signs them for me and puts them in our secret place
