Sweet pepper blossom end rot (or not?)
« on: November 06, 2020, 19:38 »
Hi All.
I'm still (hopefully) ripening sweet peppers (Corno di Toro Rosso) in the GH. I've lost a lot this year to what I thought might be BER, but I'm not convinced as the lesions invariably start half way up the fruit. Web photos tend to show it at the blossom end, as one might expect. Also, they are growing hydroponically, so water uptake should not be erratic leading to the usual reason of calcium deficiency.
Piccy attached - any thoughts/advice very welcome.
Cheers. TA
