I can see this year being a bad year!!! :wacko:

So far I have Cabbage Root fly Lost all of my Cauli's and some of my red cabbage also rust on my garlic.

 All I want now is a herd  of rabbits, plague of Locusts and Potato blight (had it for the last 2 years) :ohmy:

We're doomed, all doomed!!!

If you hear a bang it's me leaving this mortal coil!!! :tongue2: :D ;)

oh dear....never mind you have learned a lesson the hard way, use collars to stop the fly from laying their eggs, then it won't happen next year :)
Potato blight? you have choices...spray, sow resistant varieties or pray. (I don't think
moaning about it in advance is an option :D )

put your name down on the blightwatch site and they will let you know when it's likely in your area. Good luck  ;)

Pleanty of time to sow more cabbages. I grow Hispis more or less all year round. And very nice they are too.
Self-sufficient in rasberries and bindweed. Slug pellets can be handy.

I have planted out sprouts and sprouting and put homemade cardboard collars round them.  Is this okay or should I have bought commercial ones.

I've never used cardboard............old roofing felt for me........but it would do the trick I believe  :)

I planted 1st & 2nd early potatoes this year. The first earlies will be completely harvested by next week!!!
