I started a few seeds yesterday in pots in propagators.

Tomatoes (moneymaker, something like chico rosso? forget the name)
Chillis (habanero, padron, cayenne)
Aubergine (forget the variety)
Tarragon (Russian - didn't realise there was a difference between Russian and French till I got home)
Broad beans

Broad beans do not need, or indeed like, the heat of a propagator.

How to sow seeds under cover

Sow one per 7cm (3in) pot filled with multi-purpose compost. Water in and place in a cool but frost-free place. Avoid heated rooms or hot greenhouses as they will fail to germinate. Harden off before planting out 23cm (9in) apart.

Oh ok thanks, I'll take them out then and they can just sit on the windowsill (it's the side of the house that doesn't get much direct sunlight).  I think I started them in a propagator last year too funny enough and they did ok, but it's not heated and our house isn't overly warm.
