I don't think this plant is particularly happy where it is between 2 shrubs. It hasn't really grown and I don't recall seeing it flower. It stayed mostly green through this (mild) winter.

Anyone known what it could be so I can decide if I should try to move it this year?

Looks like a Ribes to me.  Post a picture when it flowers.

I don't think it has flowered in the past 2 years.... which is why I don't think it is happy! The leaves are a little glossier and smooter than I would expect from plants in that family but there are a lot of varieties I guess...

I don't know what the plant is, but if you want to move it, then why not lift it into a tub, and try a different location and see if it is happier.    Failing that, just move it anyway.  Mrs Bouquet

No, it doesn't smell ribenary at all.

Mrs B, I was hoping to work out what it was before I moved it so I could choose the best time of year to move it as there isn't a huge rush.
