Title: Chook regurgitating clear liquid???
Post by: freebirdy on November 15, 2011, 08:52
Questions questions questions!!! If it's not one thing it' another!
My birds seem to be recovering from their sneezes and rattles without the intervention of a vet - hurrah!!!
However now I've just witnessed one of my new 15 week old birds regurgitate a clear liquid   I've never seen any of my birds do this before!
She had been eating and drinking fine, came out of the run to go into the garden and then stopped and brough up this liquid - eew! She then toddled off and started pecking around as if nothing had happened.
Ideas folks please! XX

check the chicks crop - is it hard, soft and squidgy or normal compared to the others? Sniff her breath does it smell sour? if you are unsure sniff the rest of your flock to see if it smells any different.
