What are you going to plant for the autumn/winter?
So far I've planted chinese leaves, broccolli, french beans, lettuce, carrots, spring onions. What else can I try?
Thanks, Lottie

I don't have a tunnel but in my greenhouse I grow oriental leaf mix and a winter hardy mixed salad leaf, sowed successionally in full size seed trays. That way I always have salad leaves and some stir fry material to hand. Sowing now are also winter White Lisbon onion, and various spinaches. I also sowed pak choi the other day

I am so excited. I have a PT on my allotment but because the allotment is a bit of a distance from my house (close to my work!), I didn't have much success with growing seedlings etc. in it last year. I have just placed an order for a greenhouse for my back garden which should be with me within the next 4 to 6 weeks. I am putting a heated bench into it so I will be able to propogate away happily!!!! :D :D :D
Is there anything I could start off now to move into the greenhouse when it arrives or would I be better off waiting to get it first?

We have a 8' x 6' greenhouse in the back garden and I'm hopping to lay my hand on a small polytunnel for our allotment 4mx 2m. I think.
This would make it easier for us as we could seed up in the greenhouse and then take them over to the plot later when they have grown a bit.
I do this as I can't always get over there so in the greenhouse I can keep my eye on the plants.
