Red lice & Zoflora

Just thought I'd pass a useful tip on.....

I've been having a right game with red mite. I've ordered some stuff but while I'm waiting for it to arrive I thought i'd try zoflora. I filled a hand spray bottle with 1/2 small bottle & topped up with water. (sainsburys doing it for £1) Did the coop in the eveningtime/dusk-they all came out. Sprayed away & it killed them on contact within a couple minutes! Put everything back in-chooks went to bed.

Checked the coop today, still some mites about but vastly vastly reduced compared to what it was like. I am just spraying coops every day when the chooks are out roaming. There was none under the egg laying boxes today! Also did the goose & duck houses as preventative, I've got babies hatching weds/thurs & don't want them succuming to the damn things!
