Title: Goose egg cooking times?

Hello people
I have 3 goose eggs I normally poach them so I can see what's going on but my niece wants a soft boiled dippy goose egg I'm guesing about 12 mins but don't wanna mess it up and look silly any ides?

ok 11 minutes is to long  :(
maybe 9 next time will be better

Google doesn't give a definitive answer  :tongue2: Between 9 and 12 minutes is a general consensus though! (starting with boiling water, and a room temperature egg)

I have just been given some and googled the time and was told 7-8 mins. Was the tiniest bit too runny so will go for 8 and a half with the next one!

I drop a small goose egg in boiling water for 7mins a larger one for 10 mins. Mmmmmm. :)

Starting with boiling water I found that 7.5 minutes produced a really well cooked (soft boiled egg) when I managed to get hold of some last year. Lovely taste!
