Hello no there not microchipped but a lot of owners in the uk do have them done and it is getting cheaper to have it done now ...
-
Interesting faces though I'm not sure I'd trust them ::)
Here's an interesting article about microchipping your pets:

Ferrets are lovely little animals. :) We kept them down south. We had one polecat ferret - as these pictures appear to be - which was the dopiest, softest little gill you could imagine! ::)

Beautiful!
Not sure about a ferret/chicken combination though. I had a friend who kept her ferret next door to some ducklings...with disastrous results :(

Thankyou for the replys ..Oh yes chickens and ferrets would need to be at opposite ends of the garden and always make sure the ferrets are in good cages/runs with good mesh on them ...Dawnuss most people think ferrets are spiteful biting animals there not if bought up correctly and fed a good diet the males can be a bit stinky but if castrated they dont smell maybe your oh needs to meet a few good natured ones he may well change his mind try to find somewhere that have some ..At some of the country shows have a ferret club that have ferrets there to do a bit of pr with .. :)

I once found a starving, dehydrated ferret in my garden. A silver gill apparently. I took her to a rescue place and fortunately she was recognised by a member of staff as being his cousin's missing pet. That was pure luck. If she'd been chipped it would have been an easy matter to re-unite her with her owner
They are very beautiful, intelligent animals but they scare me to death :D

Well to be honest i have met quiet a few people that were scared of them i was able to convert a handfull of them :) and they managed to hold one ..

My husband has a scar on his face and hand where was been bitten by his father's polecat
He was very hands on when I found the ferret in my garden but fortunately for him she was quite used to being handled :)

Oh yes they can deliver a nasty bite when they want had one bite me last year when i was judging a show put 17 holes in my thumb and finger had to pour water over it,s head to get it to release .. But must say have never been bitten by any that i have owned and bred over the years they just need a lot of handling when there younger to realise your not a threat .So even though your husband was bitten it has not put him off holding them .

Ferrets are beautiful and intelligent, but they are a bit smelly too - I called in to see some friends last summer on my way out for dinner. Their ferrets had had a recent 'happy event' and the owner asked if I would like to cuddle one of the babies - before I could say anything I found I was holding THREE ferret kits...they were gorgeous, but I then had to go on to my dinner engagement stinking of ferret  Fortunately, we were eating outdoors, but even then I noticed people were giving me a wide berth
