Garden Sprayer help please
« on: June 17, 2022, 12:05 »
Poking around in the shed, came across a 7 ltr garden sprayer.  I remember I had bought for rose spraying.
However, I could not fill it yesterday with the Wet and Forget.  When the saucer at the top filled I had o put the pumper in and pump the fluid down.   It took me 45 mins to get the mix into it.
Why is it doing this, what am I doing wrong ?   Help please.

Did manage to spray the patio, but no difference this morning  ::) ::)  Mrs Bouquet

Hello I assume the sprayer has a top pump, this has to be removed to get the liquid in (have you a pic of the sprayer) then its pumped up,that spray isnt instant it takes a fee days to work, also the ambient temperature could have bern to warm it dries to quick ,a cloudy day about 10 to 16 degrees  is ideal any higher it wont get a chance to work I use to spray a drive for an old man,it would be baking hot like today could not see where I'd been     jezza

Yep as Jezza says re filling the sprayer & wet & forget gets activated when it rains, plus as jezza says it might have dried too quickly yesterday if your weather is anything like ours. Wait till it cools down, it does need for the surface to be dry, look at some of their videos they’re pretty good.

Sorted - A pal came round and he unscrewed the whole of the top, so now the fluid just pours in.  I would not have been able to get it off and didn't even realise that bit came off.    Operator error  ::)  Mrs B
