he does have uveitis and he is totally blind in one eye :ohmy: i got to try an put drops in twice daily for a few days and one of those times will be at 5 am :ohmy: :ohmy: . we mite be able to save his other eye but only time will tell ,the vet wants to come back out in 10 days to check him .but i can cope with him only having one eye although he may just have ti get extra spoiled :lol:

Oh karlooben I hope you can save the other eye :(. Have you any idea at this stage, what caused the uveitis?

not a clue i'm afraid , i have been reading about it an by the looks of it no one has really found out what truly does cause it . theres so many things out there it would be near on impossible to even try an stop it happening especailly if it is mites , or rats , bedding , etc the list goes on .

Oh Poor pony. :( I am sorry to hear of his troubles Looby, fingers crossed you can save his other eye and he'll have a really spoilt life now!!! Hugs from us up here in Lincolnshire!!!

I am sorry to hear your pony has lost the sight in one eye, but fingers crossed you can save the other eye. Well done on getting the first set of drops in.
