Not that I am bowing out but I know I am not going to beat you lot of 'professionals' therefore I am aiming to grow my own giant onions weighing 5lb. Still a challenge to the novice!

I'm certainly no professional.

I only managed a 3 pounder this year.

I'd be delighted with 5lbs any year.

Let's face it that would have beaten the world record in the 1980s. :shock:

dont see why not just need to grow one as big as you can get it

The top growers all seem to use their own selected seeds. You could also see what Medwyn has to offer
