Verdict on Vales Emerald?

I know lots of us sent of for free Vales Emerald tubers from DT Brown so I wondered what the general verdict was.

I would say not overly heavy croppers but lovely flavour.  Would grow again.

Its been a dry season sofar, so I am not that surprised by how many I got from one plant.

Not tasted yet, but I think tonight I will.

hi greenowl, i've had a really crop of them  :) ,everyone else on my plot are all thinking of trying them  been so good  :? maybe growing conditions make a difference.
i've read somewhere that comprey lined in the bottom of your tench works wonders so put 4 rows in 2 with 2 without, the top growth there quite a difference but the proof will be when i lift them jan
