Just tidying the shed today and the 3 birds were on the lawn doing their usual stuff, then I heard a lot of chatter so I looked round and saw Pecky had trapped herself under a couple of hanging baskets. I had to run in the house and get my phone to take some pictures.
Pecky is a little bird, feathers, skin and bone, but lays lovely eggs
, and of course she has a dodgy eye, bent toes and some broken feathers.
It looked like she stepped on the empty hanging baskets which were lying on the lawn and flipped them over to trap her
. Then she was spinning round in the trap not able to get out as they were too heavy
Well after the photos I left her out and all was well. Good job I picked up on the conversation
Of course Babs had to get in on the action
