Mangetout type peas..have a glut of them at the moment...can they be preserved
ie..frozen....seems a shame to waste them..already given loads away..

Yes, no problem there.  Just blanche, put in cold water, dry and freeze.
Cheese makes everything better.

Just remember that when you cook them from frozen that they really only need to be brought to boil...IMO if you cook them any longer they are too soft :ohmy:
