I've just read the notice from Poultry Pages Newsletter and the piece that read "Mark Williams (the chief executive of the BEIC), along with representatives from other European countries who are affected by the Avian Flu outbreak, has called for the 12-week EU cut-off to be extended. This has not yet happened."
Surely there is a good reason for a cut-off period. If this is extended why have one. Just let producers call theirs eggs/chickens free range where ever they are?
I apologise in advance if this has upset anyone but its just my opinion.
