Just had a reminder for my wife’s hospital outpatient appointment next week by text and then on house phone. Not sure those who are organising reminders realise that older people don’t like clicking on links in text messages due to the prevalence of scams. Having checked the phone number and deleted the text I decided to answer the house phone when exactly the same number came up. However this may explain why there are problems with non attending NHS appointments given multiple warnings about responding to numbers you don’t recognise!
