Beautiful bright start to the day in South Wales. Shirt sleeves by 10 o'clock. Then about 1pm temp plummeted and some very light rain started. Hasn't developed into anything more as yet!
Managed to get my rhubarb and gooseberries planted, so the new plot is starting to leek a bit more loved  now.

Lousy yesterday, lousy today, and guess what they're forecasting for tomorrow? 

A less than impressive 5.3C here at the moment, with so much mist it's hard to tell if it's actually raining or not (it might just as well be.)

Horrible, damp & cold, so much so I think I might need to put the heating on soon.

My heating still comes on for a few hours in the morning and evening - I just turn it off if it's warm enough.

Needed it this morning, not really because it is cold but it just feels so damp  Couple of hours of brightness this afternoon so temp went up to 12C (oh wow!  ) back down to 9.5C again now  *sigh*

8.5C overnight in the greenhouse, 9C now and it's forecast to stay much the same all day, with a little rain added to the mix for this afternoon

The same as yesterday if not worse, yesterday evening I was out at a do & no end of us where saying it was like a November night & this morning looks even worse. No playing in the garden again. Really might have to bite the bullet & get sowing seeds regardless.

Have just been to our local garden centre for lunch ( Beef stew!!) looking out over lots of pretty plants , thoroughly miserable outside , damp , misty , cold and windy.  Looking forward to the improvement predicted for the weekend.
Plenty to get stuck into outside. Please hurry up, Mr Sunshine!!
