Title: What sort of chickens are these?

The top one does have a flat chest,the winds blowing her feathers

I'd say an Amberlink and a Speckeldy.  Amberlinks also known by other names like Amber Star

id definately agree with grannie, a speckledy and an amber star, i have both of these although my amber star is alot lighter    nickyx

Over the past 3 years years Nicky, we've had about 1000 Amberlinks through here, and they have ranged from Persil Whiteness to quite dark brown feathering at times.

The top one looks like a amberlink and i think the bottom one looks like a cucoo maran i have some of those and they look the same.

I would say second was a maran, just looks like my old girl.  ;)

This is my speckledy,  i would say the second hen in the picture is definately the same or near as of my one
