Well I didn't manage to grow any massive onions this year but managed to win the onion cup at our local show for the 1st time ever today.

But when the media circus departs could you please post a step by step guide on how to prepare Onions for the show bench. I intend to have a go at my local show next year and would welcome the information.

I did a thing on my blog in the onion section with some photos on how to tie the necks up and strip the skins etc if you have a look.
