Well I didn't manage to grow any massive onions this year but managed to win the onion cup at our local show for the 1st time ever today. :D

I know you will be busy for the next few weeks with all the press interviews etc :lol:
But when the media circus departs could you please post a step by step guide on how to prepare Onions for the show bench. I intend to have a go at my local show next year and would welcome the information.

I did a thing on my blog in the onion section with some photos on how to tie the necks up and strip the skins etc if you have a look. :D

I have grown onions and shallots for the first time this year and really pleased with the results, I will post some pictures today to see what you think, not in the same league as yours of course but I think good for a beginner :roll:
