Has anyone used this product?

I've got young children which do eat mud etc and unfortunately will eat the slug pellets so I am looking for a compromise and wondered if anyone had any experience with it?

I've just put some down today, I also bought a box of the wool pellets you can get. I aim to do a comparison. You can get organic pellets that are also kid safe but is rather prevent the slugs getting to the plants than kill them if I can help it, so I thought it was worth a trial.  I'm also giving the copper tape a go on my greenhouse staging

I have left dustbin lids laying around the allotment paths and collected slugs first thing in teh morning with some success. I also am lucky to have a pond with frogs which patrol the site.
