Have you though about putting some adverts in shops saying you need an old shed, condition no problem and that you will dismantle and take away. It needs to be worded better than I have just done it but there are loads of people out there with sheds they don't want and would happily give them away if someone will take them.

We got ours for nothing like this just by word of mouth.
Lynne.

So much to do, but so little time.

Thanks Lynne.  I've tried freecycle but no luck.  They still turn up now and then, but my timing is bad!  Will try your idea of ads in local shop.  Am putting out enquiries about an adjacent plot which looks thoroughly abandoned and I know the holder has moved away - it has a big shed on it, an old bench and a large fruit cage too, as well as an old chicken ark.  Am now regularly nagging about it - it would solve all my probs - my current plot is v small - meant to be a half plot but it really is small.

Thanks muntjac.  I like the last one - just add a bit of trellis both sides, maybe extend the roof a tad, and there's my verandah.  Perfect.  I like the fact that its sectioned.

Maybe this time of year garden centres will have some damaged sheds left over from the summer. Easily fixable though. Seem to remember reading about people getting bargains in threads elsewhere. eg £25 for a shed normally costing £200 or something

Just make sure the CCTV doesn't catch you damaging it though.
