Who has started what???
« on: December 30, 2011, 20:37 »
Today I sowed 12 pots of spinach in the un-heated green house as I do every year in an attempt to have early spinach - swiss chard - spinach throughout the year :)

What have you all ready sowed, mention if your green house is heated or not!  we don't want to lead people up the garden path!!

I have 80 odd winter onions in big tubs on my rooftop garden and 123 assorted garlic varieties in 3" pots waiting to go to the new plot in Spring when it will be ready for planting.

Hello

My green house currently has the glass stacked up beside it lol!!! I was a bit impatient tho and bought some spinach seeds (Polar bear I think???) that I actually sowed in late novemeber in pots (we are in process of clearing and putting in raised beds in a plot neglected for about 5 years) these have done fab and are ready for picking cant wait as all the family love spinach.  Once the glass is in the green house I am tempted to start of a few things but not sure what yet?? We have a green house heater too.

Good luck with the growing  :)

Winter onions and garlic went in well before Christmas down the plot. Broad beans and onion seeds are on the window sill here at home since yesterday.

Onion seeds and broad beans in an unheated greenhouse. My Chilli plants never amount to much as I think I start them too late so thinking about starting them now on a window sill indoors. Reallly excited to getting started again.
