Beetroot tops

Dug up a lot of beetroot today - can you eat the tops and if so how?

Yes you can - the small ones can be used as a salad leaf, the bigger ones will need lightly steaming or stir frying - they go well with orange

This time in the year the tops of my beets are a bit tough to eat tbh

Love them earlier in the year, but pass on them right now
