My young hens have just started laying but the yolks are very hard, not nice and runny. Does anybody have any ideas please?

That's very strange indeed!  So when you break open a raw egg, the yolk is solid?  Are you able to post any photos for us to look at?

I don't have any answers sorry, but a pic might reveal some clues to help solve the mystery!
