just wondering if it would be encouraging disease if i left plant bits in situ instead of heeping them up in a corner to rot down? with weeds i hoe/dig them and just leave them to rot back down but with bigger bits is the question. yes i am a bit lazy! would love my plt to be in nice rows but i put things in where i see a space!

nah the winter will take care of them . just means you have a bit of clearing up to do in spring is all i leave my cabbage stumps in along with brocoli etc as they wil sprout new growth and its lovely grub
still alive /............
