whilst looking for info on spuds i came across the following website and though some of you may be interested.

its british potatoes

anway on the subject of spuds, is it still do early to put the spuds in the groud...i was planning on doing them in a couple of weekends time...is that about right?

im also planing on experimenting with some in tubs and some in growbags just to see what happens.

I'm gonna start next week with my earlies, then some each week.

won't be planting anything here as we've had snow today too and also forecast for frost tonight....brrrr...I'm even going to bring in the seedlings out of the mini greenhouse as i think they'll suffer otherwise :(

Mine are still chitting, nowhere near ready, but was talking to one of the old boys who said his are all in! We are way down south though, don't know whether they're covered etc though.

 :oops:  I realised after posting that it's only the 1st week of March not 2nd week I usually start about 3rd week of march depending on the weather  :roll:

I don't put mine in until April and sometimes near the end depending on the weather. Still get good crops.  :)  :)
