Why is it that the compost I buy seems to be exactly 50% the amount expected?  Each 50l bag I've used has contained 25l of compost.  Blown my budget!

The packs say  50lts as packed, I think - and measure it when it is all fluffed up.
I agree it seems cheating, as by the time we use it, it's no longer all fluffy

Hello that doesn't sound right,get in touch with the manufacturer it should be 50 litres  when packed ,if  they are short some one needs to know,the manufacturers are supposed to work to an association standard  ,jezza
