Just got some well rotted menu five years old when I spread it over an area
for my  Autumn Rasberry's I noticed wood shavings in it will this cause a problem
metal detector man

No, it should be fine.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

no its fine i use   it   seems to rot down ok  an a good mulch
