Manure Required For New Ollerton Nottinghamshire
« on: November 23, 2013, 16:56 »
Anyone know of a supplier of well rotted manure around the New Ollerton (Nottinghamshire) area? I only have a small car so I would need to have it delivered.

Hmmm, no reply came the answer  :tongue2:

I found this option.... http://www.compostdirect.com/manure/p3

900L for £75 delivered, not sure how much 900L is in weight though, does it represent value for money?

I reckon that's probably about 1/2 ton, not really very good value when you can buy 120L of potting compost for abour £7 which works out at about £50 for 900L and won't rot down by half like manure could and has got nutrients added. Maybe try your local recycling centre as they may deliver loads of compost to your plot.

It might be worth following up on this advert and and asking whether they would deliver for a small price (you may need to go and bag it up first):

Otherwise you could try freecycle or gumtree or calling around some local stables-a quick google search indicates there are quite a lot near you.

Good Luck!

try your local horse stables you can buy 1/2 or ton builder sacks that should fit in your car with the seats down.
Dear God, Please can you stop the wind and rain and bring on the nice weather. Amen
