I walk a hound so I know what you mean. They are oblivious to everything, which is a worry if they get loose. I think there are less stressful breeds  :)

Totally agree CQ. Brodie gets walked on a lead so can keep the AWOLs to a minimum... otherwise he'd be in the pound more than he'd be at home.

A much less stressful breed is our flatcoat retriever, never known such a friendly and happy dog... they do really complement each other. Really love the pair of them, for totally different reasons.

It's good you have another dog and that they get on. The retriever will be a calming influence hopefully  :D
