My comfrey always seems to be covered in blobs and patches, wouldnt win awards but then it only goes in a tea bucket or compost heap.

If its not blight as DD says i wouldnt worry.

   :nowink:

Which 'look' would you prefer BQ??    ;)

My comfrey sometimes doesn't look it's best, but I've never known it to get blight.  As the others are saying, it only goes into a bucket or in the compost heap.  It will be fine!   :)

I just sound good, useless really.  Only yesterday Harry our friend from the village asked what I'd done to my tomatoes, as HIS are much bigger, greener and got more truses on than mine!

Can't unerstand why either.  He james more into his greenhouse than is healthy, he never takes out the side shoots, but never seems to get any problems, and gets loads of tomatoes!

Then he said but then mine ARE vine tomatoes.

You always get one that does better. One of our old timers told me i needed to pinch out the side shoots three times a day before i had florence, to which i replied " i do have a full time job, two children, a house to run and a life, if my side shoots bother you that much feel free."

We jam our bit of community plot too full but that is because its literally 5 foot by 3 and we cant swing a cat in it. Pointless really but they insist its better to have more plots than bigger.
