Just been out to mix up Flubenvet with pellets for the girls (that time of year again) and could have sworn there was a 7 day egg withdrawl. Having read the instructions again, just seen that there isn't!
Am particularly pleased as all three girls are currently firing on all cylinders and producing eggs! This is a bit of a rarity as being silkies at least one tends to be broody/not laying. I wonder if the "disappearance" of lovely Napoleon has made them think that they need to earn their place in the coop?!
They are currently having their last free range round the garden and will shortly have their last treat of mealworms before the week of austerity begins (the condemned chicken...)
I have my ear plugs at the ready as last time they were wormed they complained loudly
and went on hunger strike for 3 solid days at being shut in the run...
