I agree, it's like being a child in a Sweet Shop.

Please do not take this personally but i will not use Wilko's or any other multi product big store's. I can buy 25kg sack's of BFB, Growmore etc etc for £15 at my local independent nursery. They also do garden lime 25kg for £10. If you look down most high st's all you see is boarded up shop's or pound shop's. We are partly to blame because we want to buy everything in 1 place and cheaply. I used to own a greengrocer's and i was cheaper than the nearest supermarket but people still only came in for the odd thing they had forgotten to buy at tesco's. You have the right to buy where you want but please do not moan when that lovely little butcher's, baker's , greengrocer's closes down. The big boy's are not allway's the cheapest as the recent TV documentary proved. Sorry about the rant but i do feel stronly about this.

I like Wilkinsons too, their seeds and fertiliser have been great for me the last few years.
I bought a gooseberry, rhubarb and other plants over the last few years and they have been great quality.
Their garden equipment is well stocked, good value and of good quality too.
I see Wilkinsons now as what Woolworths once was.

I use the plot shop at our allotment site but I do visit W*lko for stuff occasionally.  Thankfully I can say I shop local even when shopping at W*lko as it's a company local to me  :)  Their HQ is just up the road and I have to say they are easy to deal with, friendly, and always helpful - not just instore but at the HQ too
