I've always had the usual alluminium/glass greenhouse's, moving house this week and starting again so with limited funds was looking for a second hand greenhouse.
I found these on ebay
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/8X6-GREENHOUSE-POLYCARBONATE-ONLY-239-99-FREE-BASE-/330475074425?pt=UK_Home_Garden_Garden_Structures_Fencing_CV&hash=item4cf1d97379
Bearing in mind if I find a second hand one I'll need to have it dismantled, transport it and deal with any broken glass this seemed an ok price to me. I haven't investigated what the 'free base' is yet.
What do you think of polycarbonate and the price of this?

It looks good, the only minus point is that my G/House is the same size and it is no where near big enough for me now.
It was when I first bought it but now I wish I had bought a far bigger one say 12ft x 8ft.
The actual G/house looks good value to me though.

I agree about size..............mine is a 6 x 8 and it's not big enough :(
Have a look at the Norfolk greenhouse polycarb g/houses (they are clear at the bottom) they work out a bit cheaper I think even when you add the p&p. Mine is one of these, and apart from siliconing the panels in to stop them popping out in high winds it has been fine :)

There always used to be ads in the papers/magazines so that you got free staging with the code from the ad...maybe worth looking out for ;)
