polytunnel
« on: March 20, 2010, 13:41 »
Hi all
quick question; if I tape 3 25mm plastic pipe together to create triangular shape, would this be sturdy enough to support the roof of my poly tunnel?
Thanks for any input
Bob

I'm guessing that the tape would soon fall apart from the heat built up inside the tunnel and the works would flop over.  Clear and duct tape are notorious for degrading in heat.

If you're bolting them together, they'd hold. But where does the tape come in?
