My mum and I made strawberry jam yesterday too. We copied Hugh FW and put some gooseberries into it as well. It made a real difference to the setting and isn't as cloyingly sweet either. Fabulous on freshly cut bread at lunch time.
Well done Foxy!!!! There's no pressure for me is there? . I will be hopefully doing some this week .....I just hope it's a bit more spreadable than my rhubarb and orange jam (knife and fork job)
